Romans Reframed
Unlocking Four Misunderstood Texts
A Live Zoom Study with Ryan Lambert | Presented by the Bridge Builders Forum
What if we’ve misunderstood one of the most influential letters ever written?
For centuries, Paul’s letter to the Romans has shaped Christian theology, identity, and its relationship with Judaism. But many of the most widely accepted interpretations of Romans are built on flawed assumptions—assumptions that Paul started a new religion, that he was writing to “Christians,” and that Judaism was a problem he sought to solve. These assumptions not only distort Paul’s message—they also drive a wedge between Jews and Christians.
Romans Reframed is an interactive Zoom study that unlocks the meaning of four misunderstood passages by restoring them to their original Jewish and Greco-Roman context.
Rather than tearing down Judaism or replacing it, Paul was building a bridge between Gentile followers of Jesus and the Jewish people. This series invites you to explore Paul’s true intent—engaging the letter of Romans in its historical context to discover how it can still bring Jews and Christians together today.
